Winnie the Pooh Nursery Reveal

When we were pregnant, we didn’t want to know the gender of the baby. It wasn’t important for us to know if we were having a boy or a girl. We just wanted a happy, healthy baby. People thought we were CRAZY for not finding out but honestly, it made the whole experience even better. I don’t think we will find out for any future kids either and we strongly recommend that to anyone who is thinking of doing so!

No one was buying us too many pink things or too many things with trucks and dinosaurs. Everyone gifted us very gender neutral items which we will be able to use for all our future kids.

The same thought process went into the planning of our nursery. We wanted to keep it gender neutral but focused around a Disney theme and we didn’t want it to be too over the top. If you Google or search Pinterest for “Disney Nursery”, every picture is practically vomiting mouse ears or princesses everywhere. It made us think this wasn’t possible. Then, we stumbled onto the idea of creating our own Hundred Acre Woods which is exactly what we did.

Since our nursery is also our Guest Room, not going over the top was perfect. So we kept the bedding simple and added small touches of Winnie the Pooh around the room.
